Video Update: Cadillac 's Don Butler Introduces New BMW 3-Series Fighter

Cadillac's ATS sedan, the brand's entry-level, compact luxury vehicle

The editor of Jeffcars.com  interviews Don Bulter at this year's North American International Auto show.

Cadillac is finally back in the game of offering a compact size luxury vehicle. Unlike the mistake they made in the eighties when ago with the Cimarron, this vehicle is based off of an all-new platform. Besides being under the same umbrella of the GM brand. This Caddy wont share a platform with Chevy and Buick. The all-new 2013 ATS sedan is targeting the BMW 3-Series sedan, according to the folks at Cadillac.

The ATS, which looks similar to the first generation CTS will available in a variety of engine choices in either an all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive configuration. Pricing has not been announced as of yet. Look for the vehicle to hit showrooms later this year.

Here's a rear view shot of the top-of-the line XTS sedan.
